Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY)

JSY is a safe motherhood intervention under NRHM being implemented with the objective of reducing maternal and neonatal mortality by promoting institutional deliveries among poor pregnant women. It provides conditional cash assistance to BPL/SC/ST women for giving birth in a Govt. Health institutions or accredited private hospitals.
