Quality Assurance

National and State Certification against NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standards) for public health facilities had been launched in 2015 with the aim to recognise the good performing facilities and improve the service delivery and credibility of public health facilities in the community. Nationally certified facilities are provided financial incentives as recognition for their good work.

Kayakalp Program

Under 'Swachh Bharat Mission' Kayakalp Award Scheme is an initiative to promote infection control practices, hygiene maintenance and sanitation in public health facilities. Public healthcare facilities like DH, CH, PHC, UPHC and HSC all across the State undergo series of Assessments (Internal, Peer and External) against a Standard Checklist. Good performing facilities are recognised and rewarded with cash prizes every year since 2016 onward.

MeraAspataal

It is a Government of India initiative to capture patient feedback for the services received at the hospital through user-friendly multiple channels such as Short Message Service (SMS), Outbound Dialling (OBD) mobile application and web portal. 20 facilities in the state have been linked with Mera Aspataal portal.

LaQshya

LaQshya is a Quality improvement initiative for Labour Room (LR) and Maternity Operation Thaeter (MOT) which intends to achieve improvements in the intra-partum and immediate post-partum care. Under this initiative LR and MOT of the public healthcare facilities are LaQshya certified through a set of quality standards.

MusQan

MusQan aims to ensure provision of quality child-friendly services in public health facilities to reduce preventable newborn & child morbidity and mortality. Under MusQan, Paediatric OPD, Paediatric Ward, SNCU/NBSU and NRC of the facility are assessed for MusQan certification eventually.
