New Born Week

In order to attain a single-digit NMR and stillbirth rate per 1000 live birth by 2030 under the India Newborn Action Plan (INAP), every year National Newborn Week is organized from 15th to 21't November to raise awareness about the importance of the newborn care for child survival and development. Every year GoI proposes a new theme for the newborn week in order to rebuild the linkages between community and facility.
